​​CoolHaven Quintet is a contemporary jazz ensemble based in the Netherlands. Founders Armand van Wijck (chromatic harmonica) and Floris van Elderen (drums) are inspired by Nordic jazz, film scores and impressionism. The result is a dark but also romantic style with an emphasis on heartfelt improvisations. In 2017 the quintet was nominated for and playing in the finals of several Dutch jazz contests like the Erasmus Jazz Prijs and they played at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2018!
